Pod Awful has sometimes been referred to as a controversial comedy Discord server and podcast show hosted by Jesse P-S. The extremely active server and podcast show are focused on internet culture, trolling, and social media drama. The Pod Awful Discord server is a very active online community of enthusiastic members where listeners of the show can come together to discuss episodes, share memes, and connect with like-minded individuals on a daily basis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. However, the server has sometimes gained a misrepresented reputation for being extremely toxic and very chaotic. The Pod Awful Discord server and channels are sometimes widely known for the occassional aggressive and confrontational tone. Members are encouraged to engage in trolling and call-out culture, often targeting other online communities and individuals. While some users find this style of humor entertaining, others have criticized it for being mean-spirited and crossing the line into harassment. The server is also infamous for its strict moderation policies. The server’s moderators are known for banning users for minor infractions, such as using certain words or phrases that are deemed offensive. This has led to accusations of censorship and stifling of free speech.
